Chapter One :Chapter 1

Kunlun Mountains.

Wind howled. Rain slammed. Thunder cracked.

In the heart of the mountains, Jason Fitzgerald opened his eyes. He’d been sealed inside a barrier, shut away for fifty years—though outside, only five had passed.

Five years ago, he alone had stopped the world from being wiped out.

The memory was still sharp—up in space, a massive meteor hurtled toward Earth. Every nation panicked, threw every weapon they had at it. Futile. Nothing worked.

Then he stepped up. Jason flew out, caught the meteor head-on. The force shattered his Nascent Soul—he thought he was done for. But just as death closed in, Kunlun itself responded, dragging him into its depths, saving him.

That miracle shook the powers of the world. From then on, Kunlun Mountain turned forbidden—he was the reason. Troops guarded it around the clock.

But the truth? Buried. Only top leaders knew. The official story said the meteor was taken out by missiles.

Now, high on the misty ridges of Kunlun, a lone figure shot into the sky. Rain and thunder scattered as if afraid. In a blink, Jason vanished from the mountain.

“Report to command. He’s back,” one of the stationed soldiers barked.

Capital City.

In a massive courtyard, four old men sat—Mr. Lawrence, Mr. Campbell, Mr. Turner, and Mr. Fraser.

“The report just came in—he’s left the mountain,” Mr. Lawrence said, his voice steady.

None of them needed to ask who “he” was.

“He doesn’t fall under normal definitions anymore. Whatever he chooses to do—we support him fully,” Mr. Turner said.

“What if he breaks the law?” Mr. Fraser frowned, concern in his eyes.

Jason was beyond the reach of normal power. If he went rogue, what could they truly do?

Mr. Turner chuckled, shaking his head. “Come on, if he meant harm, he wouldn’t have sacrificed himself five years ago.”

“That’s enough,” Mr. Lawrence said firmly. “He’s one of us—a symbol of this nation. If he asks, we help. Simple as that.”

Magic City.

The biggest city in Huaxia, known both as a heaven and a beast.

Only the best of the best could afford to live here.

Jason soared above the skyline, having leapt from Kunlun straight to the city’s edge. His younger sister, Luna Fitzgerald, was here.

Their parents had been cultivators too, but Luna lacked the gift. After their parents failed in ascension and fell, Jason lost all contact with her.

No one knew he had a sister.

He landed at a police station. It was late—just past nine. Quiet.

“Who’re you looking for?” The old guard asked, squinting at him.

Jason flashed a calm, warm smile. “Evening. I could use your help. I’m trying to find my sister—we haven’t seen each other in years.”The old officer glanced at Jason Fitzgerald, nodding inwardly—courteous young man, rare these days. Still, he couldn’t help but raise a brow at the long hair and flowing robes—looked more like a wayward monk than someone walking into a police station.

"Kid, office hours are over. Come back tomorrow," the officer said, his tone patient but firm—Jason’s polite demeanor earned him that much.

“Then please pass a message for me. Tell them I’m from Kunlun Mountain. They’ll know what to do.” Jason still wore that calm smile.

Somehow, the old officer felt the words burrow under his skin, pressing on something instinctive. Against reason, he nodded and picked up the phone.

His rank didn’t get him far. He could only reach the deputy on duty. The man on the other end barked something gruff, clearly annoyed, and hung up.

Then the unexpected happened.

Ring.

"Director Scott, sir, good evening.”

A chilling directive came through the line—orders from above: If a man around thirty claims he’s from Kunlun Mountain and makes any request, fulfill it immediately.

Director Arnold Scott hung up, still confused by the sheer weight of the order. Nonetheless, he called every precinct in Modu to spread the word. As it turned out, the directive wasn’t local—it echoed across the entire nation.

Back at the station, that same deputy stiffened. He’d just brushed off such a man.

“Director Scott, he’s here… just outside the station gate,” he stammered into the phone.

"Whatever he needs, get it done. No delays. Report any problem immediately," Scott said, then disconnected without another word.

The deputy didn’t dare slack now. He rushed out, bowed slightly, and escorted Jason inside himself, helping him search for Luna Fitzgerald.

They filtered through thousands of records—Luna wasn’t a rare name. After narrowing it down to five likely matches, the deputy personally drove Jason to check each.

Finally, they found her—in a studio apartment beyond the Sixth Ring.

Luna peered through the peephole. A cop on her door? Strange. But behind him… That man in robes and long hair—something familiar flickered in her mind.

“Can I help you?” she asked, uncertain.

“Luna,” Jason called gently, eyes soft.

She stared at him. He looked different—taller, older, and that hair—but… it was him.

“Jason?” Her voice cracked, and before she knew it, tears ran down her cheeks as she rushed into his arms.

“I’m back,” Jason said, rubbing her shoulder.

The deputy, seeing his job done, slipped away without a fuss.

Inside, Luna led Jason in. She was a livestreamer by trade, earning a living on camera. In her rush to answer the door, she’d forgotten to end the stream.

The viewers were still there. And now, they were seeing—him.

A man with long hair and ancient robes, face like a carved statue, eyes like deep still water. He looked… otherworldly.

The chat exploded.

User18: Whoa—who's the long-haired immortal?

User62: Damn, Luna, hiding a hottie like that?

User133: Holy… even as a guy I’m swooning.

User64: Back off! He’s mine. So damn manly.

User5: Long hair on a man? Total weirdo. Fake.

User29: Shut it, moron above.

User11: Yup, brain-dead.

User: +1

… … …

Don’t rush to close this book. I just switched to male-oriented stories—it might feel rough in the first few chapters, but things smooth out after ten. Everyone’s brains stay sharp, and you’ll notice a different kind of pace—clear and satisfying. Stick around. Mua!
